Get Cited, Recommended and Trusted in AI Search
When someone asks ChatGPT or Gemini which contractor, clinic or advisor to use, they get three to five names. Not a page of results. A shortlist.
We build the visibility that puts your business on that shortlist, and we can show you clients where it worked.
Clients We Have Made Visible in AI Search
Every case below shows where the business started, what we built, how long it took and what it produced.
01
Luxury travel advisor, Austin
Cited directly inside Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode. Returned as the number one recommendation across multiple AI tools for river cruise advisory queries. Started with no website at all.
02
Occupational health provider, Texas
16,800 impressions in Google’s AI features over six months. Cited across ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode. 46 individual pages cited.
01
Roofing contractor, Texas
67 keywords now triggering Google AI Overviews, alongside 95 top-three organic rankings.
What Results Actually Look Like
Cited in AI
answers
Your pages become one of the sources AI tools pull from when answering questions in your industry.
Recommended by name
Your business comes back as one of the handful of options when someone asks an AI tool who to hire.
More people searching your name
Someone who sees your business recommended in an AI answer often goes and searches for you directly. That branded search is the highest-intent traffic you will ever get.
More booked
work
Being the recommendation carries credibility a search result does not. People who arrive that way arrive already half-decided.
Ranking on Google Is Not the Same as Being Cited by AI
Traditional search shows a list of links and lets the user choose. AI search reads the web, decides which sources it trusts, and produces one answer.
That means ranking well does not automatically get you cited. Plenty of businesses sitting at the top of Google are completely absent from AI answers about their own industry, because the tools could not understand them well enough to recommend them confidently.
What AI tools look for is different. Whether your business is recognisable as a clear entity. Whether your information agrees with itself everywhere it appears. Whether your content actually answers the question. Whether other credible sources back you up.
That is what this work builds.
How We Build It
Visibility audit
We ask AI tools the questions your customers ask and record what comes back. Which businesses get recommended, which sources those answers are built from, how your business is described if it appears at all, and where the gaps are. This is your baseline, and it is usually the most eye-opening part of the process for owners with strong Google rankings.
Question and intent mapping
We identify what your buyers ask across Google, AI platforms, Reddit, YouTube and industry forums before they choose a provider, then map each question to buying stage. The answer to what a bathroom remodel costs serves a different purpose than who the best remodeler in Houston is, and both matter.
Source page build
Authoritative pages on each topic, written to be extracted and cited rather than skimmed. Depth beats volume. This is also where your own material goes in: real project examples, actual pricing ranges, first-hand experience. AI systems favour sources containing something not available everywhere else, and your completed work is exactly that.
Entity and signal reinforcement
Structured data, internal linking and consistent business information so AI systems understand your services, locations and expertise as one coherent business. Then the same consistency across your Google Business Profile, reviews, directories and the platforms these tools cite. Yelp in particular comes up often as a cited source.
Monitoring and adaptation
Ongoing tracking of which AI tools mention your business and for which questions, how you compare against the competitors appearing alongside you, and where traffic from AI platforms lands. The platforms keep changing, so the work does not stop.
This Is SEO With an Additional Goal
There is no separate AI algorithm to game, and anyone selling you a trick is selling you nothing.
Everything that makes you rank well in Google makes you more likely to be cited by AI. A clear website, real authority, consistent information, genuine expertise. The difference is what you are aiming at.
Traditional SEO aims to rank the page. This aims to make your business the source AI wants to reference.
That is an extension of good SEO, not a replacement, which is why this work improves your organic rankings at the same time.
Is This Right for Your Business?
This works well when:
- You already depend on search to generate customers
- Your competitors appear when you test AI recommendations and you do not
- Your service involves research and comparison before someone commits
- You have real expertise, real projects and real results to build from
- You want to move on this while most of your market has not noticed
This is not the first thing to fix if:
- Your website is thin or your basic SEO is not in place
- You have very few reviews and no plan to build them
- You need customers this month, in which case paid advertising is the faster route
AI Search Visibility Is Part of the Compounding Growth System
We do not sell this as a standalone service, and with this one in particular it would not work.
AI citations are built on the same foundations as organic rankings: a clear site, consistent information everywhere, real reviews, genuine authority. You cannot bolt AI visibility onto a weak presence, because the tools are reading that presence.
The Compounding Growth System builds all of it, and AI visibility is one of the outcomes.
See How Your Business Appears in AI Search Right Now
On the roadmap call you get three things:
01
Your AI visibility, tested live.
We ask AI tools the questions your customers ask and show you exactly what comes back.
02
Who is being recommended instead.
The competitors appearing in those answers, and the sources those answers are built from.
03
What it would take.
A straight assessment of the gap and what closing it involves for your business.
Frequently Asked Questions.
Is AI search replacing Google?
No, it is adding to it. Most local searches still happen on Google. But AI tools are increasingly the starting point for people who want a direct recommendation rather than a list to sort through. The right move is to be visible in both.
Can you guarantee my business will appear in ChatGPT answers?
No, and nobody can. AI tools generate their own responses and change how they do it regularly. What we can do is build the signals those tools consistently draw on, and show you documented results from clients where that worked.
Can you control what AI says about my business?
Not directly. What you control is what the tools find. A clear, accurate, consistent presence gives them the right material, which affects both whether you get mentioned and how accurately you get described.
How do I know if I am showing up now?
Most owners have never checked. We test it on the roadmap call, asking AI tools the same questions your customers ask and showing you what comes back. It is often eye-opening for businesses with strong Google rankings that turn out to be invisible in AI results.
How long does it take?
It depends on where you are starting. Businesses with a solid site, real reviews and consistent listings can see movement within weeks. Starting from a weak presence takes longer, though it compounds. Our travel advisor client went from no website to being cited in Google AI Overviews. Our occupational health client’s AI impressions climbed steadily across six months.
Is GEO the same as AEO?
They overlap heavily. Generative engine optimization generally means appearing inside AI-generated answers. Answer engine optimization usually means featured snippets and voice search. The underlying work is largely the same and we do not sell them as separate products.
Does this only work for certain industries?
No. We have documented citations for a travel advisor, a business-to-business health services provider and a roofing contractor. If your customers research before they buy, AI tools are part of that research.
Do I pay extra for this?
No. It is built into the Compounding Growth System rather than priced as an add-on, because the work that improves AI visibility is largely the work that improves your search rankings. You are not paying twice for the same thing.
Start With Your Growth Roadmap
On a short call we look at where your work comes from today, how your business shows up compared to the closest competitors in your area, what is missing, and whether your category is still available where you operate. You finish the call knowing which system fits, what it would involve and what to expect from it.
